DPSG goes global!

In the first ever Students Overseas Exchange Programme 16 students and 2 teachers visited the school in November, 2007 and in exchange Twenty two students and three teachers of DPSG have gone to Raffles Institution, Singapore in the month of April, 2008.

Towards Academic Excellence

Technology

Technology and excellence are the essence of a good school. The school caters to the IT invasion and its relevance as a life skill by providing well equipped computer laboratories, qualified faculty. LCD rooms, 24 hour connectivity and its own website. The objective is techno-integration in the school through CAL, CLP and self-learning program.

DPSG is the first school to implement Enterprise Resource Planning which is a complete school management and resource planning solution. It encompasses time-tested effective techniques to enable qualitative all-round improvement in the student and the school.

It empowers the student, teachers and school to achieve more with the different assessment tools, reports and online information. Its Implementation will enhance the overall productivity of the Student and School alike.

Library

The school has a well stocked library. A large number of Indian and foreign journals, magazines and newspapers are subscribed to. New books and CDs are added to the library every year.

E-Library

School has a separate section for E-Library which is equipped with number of computers and a powerful server which connects us to large number of libraries of the world. The students and staff may give request to the E-Librarian for a particular topic and information is made available to them immediately. School has its own bandwidth through RF link.

Scholarships

The School offers a few scholarships to students purely on merit. Students are also prepared to appear for the National Talent Search Examination, Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna (KVPY) and various other scholarship examinations.

Medical Care

The School runs two well equipped medical rooms to provide medical attention to the students. The medical rooms are manned by trained and experienced nursing sisters. General physical check-up, dental examination and eye check-ups are periodically undertaken by a well qualified paediatrician.
